Corinne Denny, soprano, is known for her full, rich sound and her intense connection to the characters she portrays. Originally from Knoxville, TN; Corinne declared to her family she was going to be a singer at the age of three, and has been on that path ever since.

After completing her undergraduate degree in Voice Performance with a minor in Theatre Performance at Middle Tennessee State University, Corinne moved to New York to study under the esteemed vocal pedagogue, David Jones. She spent a year under his tutelage, and then moved to Arizona where she completed a dual graduate degree in Opera and Musical Theatre Performance at Arizona State University.

Upon completing her Masters degree, Corinne traveled to Freiberg, Germany where she spent three months studying and performing with the Mittelsächsisches Theater.

Once Corinne returned to the US, she transitioned from mezzo-soprano to soprano, opening up her voice and discovering her true full sound. Corinne now resides in Denver, CO with her boyfriend and Boston Terrier; where she teaches voice, and the cantor for Holy Rosary Church. Corinne recently completed a Performer's Certificate in Voice at the University of Denver, studying under Sara Bardill.

Corinne began stage directing operas in 2013 and has become known for her modern, creative and original productions.

Corinne is also the Artistic Director and founder of Denver Immersive Opera. Learn more about DIO at www.denverimmersiveopera.com
